Oswego (WSYR-TV) – Oswego Police have arrested three people after a
city-wide raid of five “head shops.” Police believe they found “suspected” synthetic drugs in three of the five locations after executing search warrants on Wednesday.
Police say they also seized material from three stores. They say they will send the material to a crime lab for testing prior to any potential related charges being filed.
Police charged three people with criminally using drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor:
- Kimberly Reed, 40, Oswego (Smoker’s Choice - West)
- Francis Heagerty, 22, Oswego (Heagerty’s Hot Spot)
- Donald Robertson, 32, Oswego (Smoker’s Choice – East)
All three suspects are employees of their respective stores, not owners. Police said their arrests were based on prior investigations, not on the raids.
Police are asking anyone with information on their investigation to call (315) 342-8131 or email crimewatch@oswegony.org.
