3 juveniles & teen charged in middle school break-in

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police have arrested four people in connection with a burglary at Danforth School over the weekend.

Shortly before 6:00 Saturday night, the school's burglary alarm was set off and responding officers found a door forced open on the west side of the building.

As officers surrounded the school and searched it, four suspects ran out of the building.

Police were able to catch them and arrest them.

Investigators say they were able to the find backpacks of the suspects placed nearby the exits of the school. Inside the backpacks were computers and projectors.

17-year old Dashon Bloodworth of Syracuse along with a 14-year old boy and two 12-year old boys were all charged with burglary.

Bloodworth was taken to the Justice Center pending his arraignment.

The juveniles were issued appearance tickets for Family Court.
