$30,000 raised during 'Movie with a Mission'

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - NewsChannel 9 viewers had the chance to give back on Sunday afternoon.

NewsChannel 9 aired the 23rd Annual Movie with a Mission.

While watching Christmas specials from classic shows like The Dick Van Dyke Show, Beverly Hillbillies, and The Brady Bunch, viewers could pledge money to help the Rescue Mission.

By the end of the broadcast $30,000 was raised.

Last year NewsChannel 9 helped raise more than $22,000.
