4 hurt when car collides with plow in Oneida County
ANNSVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a 14-year-old boy is hospitalized with serious injuries after the car he was riding in collided with a county snowplow in Oneida County.
State Police say 61-year-old Monika Cox of Taber was driving on state Route 69 in Annsville around 6 p.m. Tuesday when she lost control of her car and slid into the other lane, where her vehicle collided with an Oneida County snowplow.
Cox and her 18-year-old daughter were injured and treated at a Utica hospital. Another teen was treated at Rome Memorial Hospital, while 14-year-old Elijah Tucker of Camden suffered internal trauma.
Troopers say his injuries are considered life threatening. He's listed in serious but stable condition Wednesday morning at Upstate Medical Hospital in Syracuse.
The plow driver wasn't injured.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
