North Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Four businesses in Onondaga County’s northern suburbs were caught in an underage-drinking sting coordinated by New York State Police and Baldwinsville Village Police.

Salsarita’s Bar & Grill, Pier 57, Valero Food Mart, and Sammy Malone’s all allegedly violated laws dealing with the sale of alcohol to minors, according to police.

Police issued tickets to three people during the sting: Catherine Corsitto, 19, of Baldwinsville; Michael Kendrick, 49, of Clay; and Qahtan Ali, 44, of Syracuse.

Police also targeted 10 other establishments that they say were found to be in compliance including a Wegmans location, Sharkey’s Bar, Canale’s Restaurant, a Hess station, The Retreat, Limp Lizard, Flamingo Bowl, Fastrac, the Cobblestone, and a Sunoco A-Plus location. Most of the locations were in the village of Liverpool and in municipalities just north of the village.

Baldwinsville Police said The Lake Effect, JP’s Tavern, and a Sunoco A-Plus location were each in compliance.
