7 people taken to hospital after Pompey crash

POMPEY, NY (WSYR-TV) - 7 people were taken to the hospital after a crash near the intersection of Sweet Road and Pratts Falls Road in the Town of Pompey on Sunday.

Six of those people were kids.

New York State Police say at about 12:30 p.m., a pick-up truck was headed south on Sweet road when it was hit by an SUV going east on Pratts Falls Road.

Troopers say the SUV did not stop at a stop sign and that tickets will be issued.

The condition of the people injured is not known.
