Altmar, New York (WSYR-TV) - The Oswego County Sheriff's Department says a 14-year-old boy was swimming with friends in Altmar's Kasoag Lake when he went under and did not resurface.
The teen, Joshua Spicer of Altmar, drowned around 3:40 PM yesterday.
He was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation by the Oswego County Sheriff's Department.
