Photos: Annual tree lighting ceremony in Clinton Square
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- The annual Christmas tree lighting took place in downtown Syracuse on Friday.
Central New Yorkers gathered in Clinton Square where it’s now beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
The annual tradition includes holiday musical entertainment and ice skating, which had been threatened
by mild temperatures this year.
Even Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up for the festivities.
This year’s evergreen comes from the Wegmans property at the corner of Thompson Road and James Street.
