SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Bars and restaurants in downtown Syracuse held a friendly competition on Saturday to determine who makes the best appetizers, martinis and hurricanes.
At PJ’s Pub and Grill you could get rigatoni with vodka sauce and an Oreo martini. While the Bull & Bear Pub offered spinach and artichoke dip and blueberry and lemon martinis.
It is a great way to draw a crowd on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of winter.
"The business would definitely be a lot slower if Winterfest wasn't going on so this is definitely something that local businesses welcome and really relish being a part of,” said Adam Eagan with Bull & Bear Pub.
The competition is part of Winterfest. For a list of events, click here.
