Baldwinsville house fire under investigation
Baldwinsville (WSYR-TV) -- Fire investigators are looking into what caused a Baldwinsville home to catch fire Wednesday afternoon.
The flames broke out inside of a wall of the single-family home along Maple Road, just before 2 p.m.
The Baldwinsville fire chief says the balloon structure of the home made it more difficult to stop the flames from spreading.
The damage was contained to the back of the house.
The cold temperatures didn’t have too much impact on the firefighters’ response, according to the chief. A rehab tent was set up to keep crews warm and an ambulance was standing by in case of any emergencies.
