Bank robber sentenced to up to six years
Fayetteville (WSYR-TV) -- A Fayetteville man is off to state prison for two bank robberies.
19-year-old Ajdin Catal pleaded guilty to holding up the SECNY Federal Credit Union in Manlius and was also charged with robbing and M&T Bank in Fayetteville the day before.
Police say he wore a similar disguise during the robberies and got away with more than $13,000 in the two heists.
Catal has been ordered to pay back the money he stole when he gets out of prison in two to six years.
