Cicero (WSYR-TV) -- A blood drive will be held Friday in honor of a Cicero teen who lost her life in a car crash.

Taylor Fleming hit another car on Northern Boulevard in December of 2011. Now, friends and family want to use her memory to help others.

This Friday, from 12:00-6:00 p.m. at Driver's Village, the Taylor’s family is supporting a blood drive in Taylor's memory, an effort to pay back all the donations used to help their daughter while she struggled in the hospital.

"I do it for my other four daughters and my husband. I know it’s what Taylor would want and I want to make her as proud of me as I am of her,” said Taylor’s mom Michelle.

To sign up for the blood drive call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit www.redcrossblood.org.
