Body found in ravine identified as missing C-NS graduate

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Police have confirmed the body found in a car in a ravine last week is that of missing C-NS graduate Elizabeth Stonger.

Police say Stonger died on October 14.

Stonger, 27, was originally from Syracuse and a mother of one.

Police have not released her cause of death.

A memorial service for Stonger will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the “Gabriel Stonger Trust Fund,” c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 401 Cox Road, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054.
