Cayuga County (WSYR-TV) -- A boil water order has been lifted in Cayuga County.

The order had been in effect for a week and a half after a water main break caused high turbidity levels.

The Health Department issued a statement on Wednesday saying people in the village of Cayuga and the town of Aurelius water district 3 can now use water directly from the tap again.

If you have any questions, you’re encouraged to call the Health Department at 252-1707.
