Boil-water advisory lifted in Sandy Creek, Lacona
Sandy Creek (WSYR-TV) – A boil-water advisory that was in effect in two northern Oswego County communities has been lifted.
The county had implemented the advisory in the villages of Sandy Creek and Lacona after a water-main break.
The health department said it took several samples of water on Wednesday and Thursday.
They say the results indicated that the water is safe for residents to drink and cook with.
