Oneida (WSYR-TV) – A boil water notice is in effect in several areas that use City of Oneida water.
The City of Oneida Water Department issued the notice for the following water service areas in the town of Annsville:
- Amos Trailer Park
- Collins Trailer Park
- Leisure Village (Martin Court)
- Taberg Water District 75 (Matt and Sarah Drive)
- Lee Center – Taberg Road
The order was issued because of a transmission break, which resulted in a loss of water pressure.
They say no contamination was detected and that the notice is in effect as a precaution.
Those who are affected should bring all water to a boil and then let it cool before using it. Residents can also use bottled water.
