CBA coach shot during robbery to return to the field next month
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- CBA High School baseball coach 77-year-old Thomas Dotterer will return to the field in March.
Dotterer, who owns a liquor store on South Salina Street was attacked and shot in the eye during a robbery last month. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but continues to get better each and every day.
And he’s wasted no time getting back to work. Dotterer was back on the job at his liquor store less than a week after the shooting.
Dotterer’s first day back to practicing with the team on March 11.
