SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Beer lovers took to the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday to taste test some of the best brews around.
More than 50 breweries from across New York and beyond set up shop at the 16th annual CNY Brewfest.
The event gives people the chance to do a little research before heading to the store.
"Traditionally, sometimes a six-pack can run $7 or $8 in the store or more. This gives them an opportunity to taste some of those beers here and talk to the brewers and ask questions."
CNY Brewfest was broken up into two sessions. The second session goes until 9p.m. on Saturday.
