CNY SPCA investigating dead pit bull found in Syracuse in trash bag
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The CNY SPCA is investigating the case of another dead pit bull found in Syracuse.
Investigators say the emaciated dog weighed only 9 pounds when it was found dead in a garbage bag along Onondaga Creek Boulevard late Tuesday evening.
The CNY SPCA says the dog was supposed to weigh about 20 pounds and believe the cause of death was starvation.
Investigators are now asking for the public's help to identify the person responsible for the dog’s condition and disposal.
