Town of Clay (WSYR-TV) - A Town of Clay man is awaiting extradition proceedings to answer charges of sexual misconduct via the Internet, Onondaga Sheriff’s Deputies reported.
Lawrence Bradish, 50, of Como Lane, was arrested Wednesday by members of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC) on an arrest warrant issued out of the state of Missouri.
The local Sheriff’s Department was contacted by the Stone County Sheriff’s Office in Galena, Missouri and advised them that they were conducting an investigation involving Lawrence Bradish. Stone County Investigators say Bradish was sending sexually explicit photos of himself to an online investigator who Bradish believed was a thirteen year old girl.
Stone County authorities provided an arrest warrant for Bradish along with addition information needed to obtain a search warrant for his home, which local detectives executed Wednesday morning.
Sheriff’s Deputies say Bradish was taken into custody without incident and detectives recovered three computers that will undergo further examination.
Bradish is charged with sexual misconduct or attempt involvement of a child under 15.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s ICAC unit will examine Bradish’s computers to determine if any local charges will be filed against him and ask anyone who may have information to contact detectives by calling 435-2351.
