Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A food pantry at a local church on Syracuse’s North Side is having its shelves restocked thanks to a local car dealer.

Billy Fuccillo and his son, Billy Fuccillo Jr., have donated $50,000 to the Assumption Church food pantry, which feeds hundreds of families on the city’s North Side.

Last week, the Franciscans who run the food pantry told NewsChannel 9 that they were in danger of closing.

The pantry is still accepting donations.

Monetary donations to the Assumption Food Pantry can be made by visiting AssumptionFoodPantry.org or by sending checks to Assumption Food Pantry, Attn: Mission Advancement, 812 N. Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13208. Food donations can be made in person at the Pantry located at 808 N. Salina St.
