Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Authorities could use your help finding fugitive Charles McGee who's got a reputation of breaking the law and running from police. He’s also known for fighting with police.
McGee is 6'1" tall and weighs 290 pounds. There are two warrants out for his arrest. Police say he took a family member’s car without permission and damaged property in an apartment after a fight.
And though his current charges are only misdemeanors, McGee has an extensive criminal background.
"This guy has been arrested 47 times, totaling more than 60 charges. Twenty of them have been felonies," Syracuse Police Sergeant John Savage told NewsChannel 9. "He has resisted arrest a number of times when he's had contact with police, so he’s someone no doubt would have tendencies toward using force with others as well."
While they haven't seen McGee, detectives have heard from him. In fact, he called the cops a couple of weeks ago and said he wanted to turn himself in, but never did -- now's your chance to put him away.
