Port Byron (WSYR-TV) – A registered sex offender from Port Byron is facing new charges that he sexually abused a girl younger than 11 years old.
Kevin R. Lasher, 54, of McClellan St., has been charged with felony sex abuse in the 1st degree, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
He was arraigned in Town of Throop Court and sent to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
Lasher is a Level 1 registered sex offender stemming from a conviction for Rape in the 3rd degree in 2005.
The sheriff’s office says the investigation is continuing and further charges against Lasher are pending.
