Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Major changes are in store for two popular programs.

ABC says that Cedric the Entertainer will soon replace Meredith Viera on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”

The popular comedian will start hosting the show when it begins its 12th season in syndication this fall.

Viera has hosted the show since 2002.

In addition, reports indicate that Jay Leno will soon be replaced by Jimmy Fallon.

According to the New York Times, NBC will promote Fallon to the 11:35 spot by the fall of 2014, but nothing has been finalized.

The Times also reports that NBC will build a new set for Fallon in New York.
