Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – CenterState CEO is offering guidelines regarding the future of I-81 and its role in the greater Syracuse area.
The aging highway needs to be replaced or repaired and community leaders are debating what the best option would be.
CenterState CEO, the area’s business and economic development association, is offering a set of principles to help guide the community.
They say that the final product must unify the city and the surviving suburbs and reduce the need for eminent domain.
In addition, it should be safe and convenient for access throughout the city for residents, commuters, and visitors.
