Piffard, Livingston County (WSYR-TV) – A chemical plant on Route 64 in Livingston County exploded early Friday morning. The plant's Manager said the blast happened in a cabinet cooling area where compounds used to make plastics were stored.
Workers were in the area but no one was injured. Everyone was evacuated and the fire was contained to a small area.
