Chittenango Police chief under investigation

Chittenango (WSYR-TV) – The Chittenango Police Chief is under investigation, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office declined to address the nature of its investigation into Police Chief Jeffrey Paul.

The District Attorney's office said they anticipate that action will be taken as a result of the investigation on Monday.

In addition to serving as the village’s police chief, Paul is part-time deputy sheriff in Madison County.

In addition to the Police Department building, Sheriff’s Deputies executed search warrants at Paul Funeral Home.
