Chittenango police chief pleads guilty to falsifying business records
Chittenango (WSYR-TV) -- Former Chittenango Police Chief Jeffrey Paul has pleaded guilty to falsifying business records in the Lenox Town Court.
In March, Paul was arrested and accused of filling out time sheets for hours he didn’t work.
In exchanges for the plea, he must pay $15,000 in restitution.
Paul has already paid $10,000 and has until the end of this year to come up with the rest.
Paul also had to agree to never apply for work at any law enforcement agency.
