Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Cicero woman took home $25,050 in winnings from “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” in the episode that aired Tuesday on NewsChannel 9.

Terri Verrette made it up to her eighth question, but decided to not take a guess and walk away with half of her accumulated Millionaire Bank, which had risen to $50,100. If she had guessed incorrectly on the eighth question, she would have fallen back to $1,000 in winnings.

Verrette lives in Cicero and is the daughter of Sandy Vaughn of Baldwinsville.  Her sister Janet Mautz, also of Baldwinsville, came to New York City with her and sat in the studio audience as her on-air companion for the show.

She is a 1982 graduate of Liverpool High School.

Verrette works as a pharmaceutical sales rep.  She has one son, Cameron, age 14, and one daughter, Carly, age 11.

See how you would have done on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"  Answer Terri's questions.
