Clinton Square Christmas Tree making trip to Downtown Syracuse
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The city of Syracuse's traditional downtown Christmas Tree will arrive in Clinton Square today.
The city will hold its tree-lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 29.
The tree was donated by the LaForce family, which owns the property on the Onondaga Nation territory where the tree was found.
According to the city, the tree will be transported on Route 11 to I-81 to Court Street.
The city cautioned that traffic along the route will be affected by the tree’s transportation through Monday morning.
