Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Popular wallet-and-purse maker Coach has reached an agreement in a class-action lawsuit in the state of California.
Coach was sued for requesting the addresses, phone numbers, and emails of its customers in California. The company says it has done nothing wrong, but agreed to the term of the settlement.
For compensation, any customer who purchased something at Coach between Feb. 15 of 2010 and Feb. 29 of 2012 with a credit card or debit card – and if Coach has an email address – will be eligible for a 30 percent-off coupon.
The attorney involved said the lawsuit will protect the privacy rights of future shoppers.
Anyone who thinks they may be eligible, but didn’t receive a coupon from the company, can visit

The voucher can be used at any store in California.
