Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- The Assumption Food Pantry is seeing an outpouring of support after NewsChannel 9 aired its story about being in serious danger of closing on Monday.

The pantry is seeing higher demand, but dwindling donations.

The pantry’s shelves were pretty much bare yesterday, but now, the pantry is getting stocked back up thanks to donations from the community.

The pantry will reopen on Wednesday, but the food won’t last forever, so they’re still asking for financial support.
