Computers, electronics stolen from Buerkle’s campaign office

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Anne Marie Buerkle’s campaign office was broken into on Sunday, Syracuse Police said.

Police say several items were taken during the burglary, including various computers and electronics.

The burglary happened on Sunday, but was not discovered and reported until Monday morning, according to police.

Surveillance video of the burglary shows the suspect who appears to be a black man, 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall, 28-40 years of age, wearing a light-colored knit cap, a camouflage bulky jacket, baggy light-colored pants, and black and white shoes.

Police say it also appears that the suspect’s ears are pierced and he did appear to have studded earings.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
