When I go to the scrap yard they ask for my license and write it on the form. They also have it on file.

I had to laugh, the cops want the neighbors to watch the vacant homes....have you been on Carbon street.

Let us put some blame on the sources that pay out for a truck load of hastily cut copper. If I show up at a pawn shop with a Rolex and a PPK (not that I ever have…it was a 45) to sell there’s some questions asked. Start with that. Wherever these pissants are selling this stuff, make them verify where it came from before they can get paid for it. If you pay for stolen copper or stolen anything else then you get fined $250,000. I bet this crap would stop in a week. Problemo solved. Thanks. I’ll be here all night.

Unfortunately all these crooks are well equiped with saws alls and a light truck they can hide ..Unless you see lights moving in the basemant you probably won't even know they are there..I say put a dog or motion detecting lights on the property where it is vacant..All lights not just a few..this will definately be a deterrent because someone will notice when the house lights up like a christmas tree, when its normally dark.. You can buy the screw in type for indoors and hard wire some into the swithches for a few dollars..Lots cheaper than replacing plumbing.

Getting a welfare check isn't enough for these crooks..

we need a few "vacant homes" with a gun owner hiding in there. Put a little risk in with their reward
