Cops: Alcohol, speed contributed to teen’s death in Seneca County accident
Lodi (WSYR-TV) – Sheriff's Investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors in an accident that took the life of an 18-year-old in Seneca County early Friday morning.
According to Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies, Michael Mulford of 8793 Lodi Center Rd., Lodi, was speeding when his car left Neal Road in the town of Lodi and struck a tree.
Mulford was the only person in the car when it hit the tree.
The road was closed for approximately three hours while Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the accident.
