Canandaigua (WSYR-TV) – State Police have arrested a man who they say volunteered to coach sports for schools in Ontario and Seneca counties in order lure young boys to his residence.

Police say Leslie Hoke, 37, victimized teenagers in Geneva, Waterloo, and Canandaigua.

In addition to sports teams, they believe Hoke volunteered at fire departments in order to meet younger or junior firefighters.

They have charged the Canandaigua man with criminal sex act in the first degree.

Police believe Hoke has past victims in the Prattsburg and Pultney area in Steuben County.

They’re asking organizations that have teen groups or teen-peer type settings to look at whether or not Hoke was a member of their organization.

Anyone with information should call police at (315) 398-4100.
