DeWitt (WSYR-TV) – The owner of a Syracuse gym is facing felony charges after DeWitt Police say he used an employee’s personal information to obtain a credit card in her name.

Police say 32-year-old Justin Edmond – who owns Just in Shape gym – solicited the female victim to work for him.

They say he then used the information she provided on her job application to open the credit-card account.

The victim learned about the card when a collection agency contacted her.

Edmond was arraigned in Town of DeWitt Court and taken to the Justice Center with no bail.

Police are trying to discover whether or not anyone else has been victimized.

Anyone with information that can help police should call Investigator Thomas Regan at (315) 449-3640 or email tips@townofdewitt.com.
