Cornell president responds to reported attacks on campus
Ithaca (WSYR-TV) -- Cornell University’s president is responding to recent reports of attacks on campus.
In the past month, two women have reported being grabbed while walking and one woman reported an attempted rape.
President David Skorton says the attacks have left many feeling “angry, anxious and vulnerable.”
Skorton encourages students to take precautions, such as walking in groups at night and assures the community that Cornell Police are continuing their investigations.
