Huron (WSYR-TV) -- A county coroner says a Wayne County teacher found dead earlier this week died of exposure.

Frederick Dunn, 48, a teacher at North-Rose Wolcott High School was found dead Saturday morning in the town of Huron, about 500 yards away from where his car was found.

Officials say Dunn had left school last Wednesday after telling students he had to run some errands, but Dunn never returned.

He was last seen in a Wolcott grocery store Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Dunn had been a teacher at the school for the last 27 years.
