Cortland (WSYR-TV) – A 42-year-old Cortland County man was jailed without bail after Sheriff’s Deputies charged him with having sexual contact with a child.
The alleged victim is 7 years old. The incident reportedly occurred on Jan. 23 at a location on McLean Road in the town of Cortlandville.
Shane Fournier of Lorraine Drive in Cortland was charged with:
- Sexual misconduct, a misdemeanor
- Criminal sexual act in the first degree, a felony
- Sexual abuse in the first degree, a felony
Fournier was taken to Cortland County Jail. He was not permitted bail when he was incarcerated.
