Ithaca (WSYR-TV) -- Ithaca Police say they’re seeing a noticeable increase in counterfeit money.

Police say it’s mostly $100 bills, but it could be any denomination.

If you think you may have come across counterfeit currency, police want to hear from you. Call them at 607-272-3245.

If you can, providing a description of whoever gave you the money, or what car they were driving will help their investigation.
