Crews battle house fire on the Syracuse’s South Side
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse firefighters responded the scene of a house fire on the city’s South Side Thursday afternoon.
The blaze broke out just before 2:30 p.m. along Clover Street, just off South Avenue.
Heavy fire and smoke were seen coming from the house when crews arrived, but they managed to get it under control within minutes.
One person was inside the home at the time of the fire, but managed to escape with no injuries.
An investigation into what caused the fire is ongoing.
