East Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The New York State Department of Transportation says a project that’s causing headaches for drivers in East Syracuse could be completed in November.
The DOT began working on Bridge Street in the spring.
The southbound lanes of the road are being paved this week and the ramp to I-690 Westbound will be completed after that.
The DOT cautions, however, that all of the work is contingent on the weather.
Once final paving is complete and the signals are working together, the road will reopen.
Although the date of completion is a couple of weeks from now, cosmetic work will continue.
