Deer jumps through Penn Yan gas station window

Penn Yan (WETM-TV/WSYR-TV) – A Penn Yan gas station is cleaning up after a deer crashed through a store window, tipping over several displays and leaving blood on the floors.

Penn Yan police arrived to the Lake Street Kwik Fill to find the deer inside causing damage.

Employees say a car had struck the deer causing it to run toward the store and jump through the front window.

Officers subdued the deer with a taser and then set it free outside.

The deer had injured itself trying to escape but appeared to be okay.

No one was injured.
