Munnsville (WSYR-TV) – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says it shut down a methamphetamine lab in Munnsville.
Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home on East Hill Road in Munnsville on Tuesday at 8:10 p.m. and determined a detached garage had a clandestine lab in operation.
While deputies were conducting their investigation, suspect Scott Lohr, 47, of East Hill Road in Munnsville arrived on scene.
Deputies say that after questioning, Lohr was arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree, a class D felony.
Lohr was arraigned in the Town of Stockbridge Court and remanded to the Madison County Jail on $1,000 cash/$5,000 bond.
He is due back in court on Oct. 10.
The Sheriff’s Office says the scene clean-up was completed Wednesday afternoon and that Lohr is facing additional charges pending the completion of their investigation.
He is presently being held at the Madison County Jail.
