Driver identified in deadly Oswego County Crash

GRANBY , NY (WSYR-TV) - State Police have released the name of the man who died in a one car crash in the town of Granby Saturday night.

They say 52-year old John Flugel of Fulton was headed northbound on State Route 48, when he lost control.

Investigators tell us he left the road and hit a sign post and culvert at Windmere Drive, before his car flipped and landed on its roof.

Flugel was pronounced dead at the scene.

GRANBY, NY (WSYR-TV) - One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in the Town of Granby on Saturday.

It happened at about 8:20 p.m. on State Route 48 after the driver lost control of the 
vehicle .

A section of Route 48 was closed to traffic for a few hours while emergency crews were on the scene.

The name of the driver has not been released.

The cause of the crash is also unknown.
