MARCELLUS, NY (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office says the woman involved in a two-car crash a week ago, has died from her injuries.
Deputies tell us 54-year old Cynthia Reynolds of Syracuse, died Saturday at University Hospital. She was air lifted there in serious condition following a crash on Lee Mulroy Road last Sunday.
According to investigators, Reynolds was trying to make a left hand turn into the Ultimate Goal Family Sports Center, when she drove into the path of an oncoming car, driven by 70-year old Oscar Parkman of Auburn.
Parkman and two of his passengers were taken to University Hospital, where Parkman is still being treated for non-life threatening injuries. His passengers have since been released.
The sheriff's office says it appears Reynolds was at fault for failure to yield the right of way and no tickets are expected to be issued.
Woman airlifted to hospital after crash
MARCELLUS, NY (WSYR-TV) - A woman is airlifted to University Hospital in serious condition after a car crash on Lee Mulroy Road in Marcellus on Sunday morning.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office says 54-year-old Cynthia Reynolds of Syracuse , attempted to turn into the Ultimate Goal Family Sports Center and ended up turning right in front of a car driven by a 70-year-old man.
He had two passengers in their late 60’s in the back seat.
As of now, no tickets have been issued.
"It would appear that the driver making the left hand turn would be at fault but we will have to determine speeds and a few other things before we make a conclusive decision on that,” said Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh.
The three people in the other car were taken to University Hospital with minor injuries.
