Cicero (WSYR-TV) -- A Boy Scout troop in Cicero is wondering how they’ll hold their annual fundraisers without six huge drums used to barbeque chicken.

The drums were stolen from the Cicero United Methodist Church where the troop stores them for the winter. A troop leader says the chicken barbecue they use the drums for is the biggest fundraiser for the troop all year and he believes someone could try to sell them for scrap metal.

"It's pretty sad when you think somebody's gone behind a church, stolen these drums for probably 20 or 30 dollars worth of steel,” said troop leader Gary Winchell.

Boy Scout Troop 117 only uses the drums in June, but they believe the drums were taken sometime in December.
