Elmira, N.Y. (
WETM/WSYR) -- Elmira College officials are searching for one of their students who hasn't been seen on campus since January 10.
The college says 21-year-old Jessica Ronhock, of Massachusetts, left a note for her roommate saying she was going home for a family emergency.
Her family soon called her roommate because they hadn't heard from Jessica and grew concerned.
Elmira College officials say their main goal is bringing her back safely.
“We're doing anything we can to help the police. We've given them access to her room and her computer, any network share stuff that's on our hard drivers in terms of electronic communications. We've interviewed and asked all the folks from the ROTC because she's a ROTC student,” said Mike Rogers, an Elmira College spokesman.
Police say Ronhock has used her credit card in Florida, Texas and most recently in Arizona.
Ronhock is 5'7" tall, with brown eyes and brown hair.
According to the New York State missing persons website she is 150 - 160 lbs.
She also has tattoos of a rose on her left shoulder and a butterfly on right hip.
If you have any information on her whereabouts you're asked to call the Elmira Police Department.
