Syracuse (WSYR-TV) --
Empire Brewing Company, an award winning restaurant and microbrewery in downtown Syracuse, will be featured on
Food Network's "Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives.” Empire was chosen from a national pool to appear on the show’s “Land to Sea” episode, which will air this coming Monday.
Empire is celebrating their new-found fame by offering $3 pints of their award winning ales and lagers and will give away free samples of their Sweet Fire and Feta Chicken Flatbread during a viewing party between 9:30 and 11 p.m. on Monday.
And, if you’re feeling particularly outrageous and funky, dress up like Guy Fieri or Empire's Brewmaster Tim Butler and get your first pint for free. The winning "look-a-like" will win Beer for a Year!
The show, which was filmed in late August, will air at 10 p.m.
Empire Brewing Company opened in downtown Syracuse in1994.
